2月19日は、リチャードと妹・久美の誕生日。二人ともおめでとう!!!
It was Richard and my sister Kumi's birthday. Happy Birthday for both of you! Lots of cards and presents arrived and made Richard a very happy birthday boy. Thanks everyone!!!
バースデー恒例・ベッドで朝食に始まり、手作りケーキ（恥ずかしながらバースデーケーキ初挑戦でした）でお祝いをした後、バイクでロンドンへ！
After a fabulous breakfast (sister Frances' special recipe!) in bed which is our birthday ritual, and a small celebration with my first ever hand-made cake (I was a cake virgin!), we hit the road into London.
ここ数日暖かいロンドン。BIRTHDAY RIDEには完璧の天気でした♪
これまたバースデー恒例の「高いところにのぼる」儀式…
今回は、歴史的建造物のウェリントン･アーチを訪れました。
わずか3階建ての低い建物ながら、景色を楽しみながら記念撮影。
Our another birthday ritual is visiting historical sites. Today we went to the Wellington Arch. Having been moved three times, now it is located in between the Palece and Hyde Park. Took a nice group photo with our new family member "Charlton Athletic DUCK".
そして、なぜか科学博物館へ…学期の中間休みなので、子どもたちでごった返す展示会場を巡り、
最後はパブで一杯。
Then we followed the kids on half-term holiday to the Science Museum. Too many interesting things and great interactive activities to go through within an hour... got to go back again sometime.
Finished off our little trip with a pint in a pub! Mmm BEER... Goooood.
It was a fantastic day. Happy Birthday Richard!!

We did have a brilliant day yesterday... Today we've already back in normal, that means 'Richard is treated like a king anymore...' haha only joking!
The cake was only a simple sponge cake with lots of strawberries. Well it's only my first attempt, next time I may do something more to it :)
